Hey, I'm April!

I'm Coach April, a performance coach, nutrition specialist, and the one in your corner who tells it like it is.

I work with athletes at every level, from elite competitors chasing podiums to everyday athletes juggling training, work, and family life. Whether you're sprinting down a track or carrying toddlers up the stairs, you are an athlete, and how you fuel, train, and recover matters.

I’ve walked the path myself, starting with a pair of dumbbells and some YouTube workouts, learning to lift, building muscle, and fueling my body like an athlete while raising a family.

I know what it takes to push your body, level up your performance, and still show up for life outside the gym.

My coaching blends real-world experience with evidence-based strategies to help you build strength, recover smarter, and stay in the game longer, whether that game is on the field or in your living room.

2. Do I need to have a gym membership to work with you?

Not at all. I create plans that work with your equipment, schedule, and lifestyle—whether that’s home workouts with dumbbells or gym sessions. 

3. What if I’ve tried everything and still can’t lose fat or build muscle? 

That’s exactly why you need a coach who gets it. We’ll dig into your habits, nutrition, training, and mindset to find what’s really holding you back. 

4. Will you provide me with meal plans?

I don’t have rigid meal plans. Instead, I teach you how to understand nutrition and build your plate based on your unique goals. My goal is for you to confidently create meals anywhere; whether at home, at a restaurant, or on the go—that fuel your body and support your progress. This knowledge empowers you to make smart choices for life, not just for a few weeks.

5. How much time will I need to commit to training and nutrition?

We tailor it to your life. No one has time for 2-hour workouts or crazy meal prep. We’ll find a realistic plan you can stick to consistently.

6. Can you help women dealing with perimenopause or menopause?

Definitely. I specialize in coaching women through hormonal shifts, helping you manage symptoms, build strength, and optimize nutrition during these phases.

7. I’m an athlete. How is your coaching different from traditional sports coaching?

I blend performance coaching with smart nutrition and recovery strategies that fit your sport and lifestyle; not cookie-cutter programs.

8. What kind of support do I get between coaching sessions?

You get ongoing education, habit guidance, and personalized feedback through check-ins, your client portal, and direct communication depending on your package.

9. What if I struggle with motivation or consistency?

I don’t sugarcoat it—showing consistency is hard. But I will help you build habits that become non-negotiable, plus we’ll tackle mindset and accountability together.

10. How soon will I see results?

Results depend on your starting point, consistency, and goals. You’ll start feeling stronger and more confident within weeks; visible changes take time, but I’m here for the long haul.
